Clear North Sky; Dark Skin; Average Weathered Wood

A series of sculptures based on personal photographs of found objects from Easter Island and Governors Island. While thinking about passageways where both sublime and dystopic encounters with nature occur, the creation of intimate sculptures referencing architecture, tools, and transportation devices posing as an index of regional artifacts. The integrated objects were put into their original landscape, rephotographing them to suggest a different purpose.
